If you are visiting the sandy beach of Fodele, located to the north of the village and along the National Road, do not miss to visit the church of Agios Vasilios.

Agios Vasilios is a small stone-built chapel that overlooks the sea on the eastern side of the beach. In addition to its unique beauty, the holy temple also has historical value as it was constructed quite recently in the ruins of an older temple dating back to the Venetian times. In fact, if you notice a little closer to the surrounding area, you will see some ruins that are preserved from the old settlement of Agios Vasilios, from which it takes its name.

The road to the holy temple is easily accessible by car, from the National Road seven kilometers from our hotel. Dive into the beautiful beaches of Fodele and try local mezedes in the picturesque taverns of the village. If you visit it late in the afternoon, enjoy the magical sunset.
