The small beach of Pantanassa is located about 10 kilometers south of our hotel, next to the picturesque port of Pantanassa. The beach took its name after the monastery of Pantanassa, which is found on the top of a pine-covered hill above the beach.

Access to the beach is quite easy as you can leave your car at the nearby port, and then just walk for a few meters. The beach has sand and pebbles and is considered relatively deep. However, its waters are usually calm because the beach faces the east, thus, it is largely protected by the northwest winds that often blow during the summer months.

The beach is not very organized, so it is good to bring umbrellas, chairs, and mats with you. Furthermore, If you wish to eat something without having to leave far from the beach, there is a tavern and cafeteria at the nearby port of Pantanassa.
